Indigenous Leadership is a unique journey tailored for you as an ancestor. We recognise the genuineness, cultural understanding, and purposefulness of your ancestors. Rooted in the Tongan principles of ‘Ofa, Tukupa, Fatongia, and ancestral wisdom, the programme offers a structure to facilitate your development in a culturally enriching and introspective process.

Programme Details

Fakatoukatea Indigenous Leadership sessions are held in a collaborative, immersive environment limited to 8 leaders, to enable the opportunity of meaningful engagement. We offer practical tools, strategies, and insights for immediate leadership enhancement. Fakatoukatea Indigenous Leadership focuses on practicality, honouring cultural wisdom, and personal growth. The programme is delivered in four phases: Manatu, Aotearoa, Mamāni, and FetuiakiMālie. The package cost AUD & NZD 2000.00 plus GST.

Transformative Phases

Embark on a journey of growth and discovery through these transformative phases, each designed to awaken you towards your authentic, indigenous-informed leadership.

Phase 1: Mānātu

Connecting with Ancestral Wisdom

This phase focuses on reconnecting with ancestral wisdom and reshaping the narrative surrounding one’s leadership journey. Participants will develop a five-year leadership plan based on insights drawn from their cultural heritage.

Phase 2: Aotearoa

Leadership in Aotearoa

Building on the governance principles of Aotearoa and Te Tiriti o Waitangi (Treaty of Waitangi), this phase awakens leaders to navigate modern workplace challenges while staying grounded in their Indigenous values and wisdom.

Phase 3: Māmani

International Leadership Understanding

This phase broadens your leadership perspective through international eyes, incorporating international experiences and human rights principles.

Participants will learn how to integrate international insights into their leadership practice while maintaining cultural integrity.

Phase 4: FetuiakiMālie

Collaborative Leadership and Public Speaking

The final phase brings together leaders from all walks of life to collaborate, exchange knowledge, and share their leadership journeys. Participants will also engage in public speaking, enhancing their ability to communicate and lead with confidence.
